The Income Protection Calculator was developed with consumers in mind. The calculator is mobile-friendly and only takes a few minutes to complete. Once a client enters basic information, the results reveal the following:
- How much income protection they may need
- Three coverage options—basic, moderate, and comprehensive
- Cost estimates for each coverage option
Then they can come to you to discuss their unique needs, receive an illustration, and complete an application.
The comprehensive educational and needs analysis system is designed for producers to use with clients and prospects. The program is made for the owners and employees in small and midsize businesses. It's designed to be delivered individually or via the worksite.
Start by reviewing your existing clients' financial protection needs. Then build a list of prospects that satisfies the following criteria:
Individual prospects
Almost anyone in the working population is a good candidate, but specifically those who:
- Are ages 30 to 50
- Earn at least $40,000/year
- Are interested in protecting their income
- Have other risk and/or protection products with you
Employer/business owner prospects
- 10-200 employees
- Employees between the ages of 30 and 60 with at least $40,000 a year in income
- Established with at least two years of continuous operation
- Stable workforce with low turnover
- Non-seasonal employees
