What’s new on the participant website?
Guided website tour
For those who like someone to show them around, we have just the thing. A new guided website tour explains what’s on the account overview dashboard. It’ll pop up the first time a participant logs in. It also automatically appears for those who haven’t visited since Jan. 1, 2017. Any participant can take the tour by selecting “Guided tour” on the overview page.
Updated transaction experiences
Last fall, participants began using new online processes for loans and investment transfers. They also started getting status updates on their loans, withdrawals and distributions through text messaging.
We continue to update transaction experiences so participants can more easily do business online. As they do, they’ll get in-the-moment educational information so they can understand potential financial impacts of their decisions. These are next on the list:
- Withdrawals (May)
- Investment rebalancing (June)
- Contributions and deferral changes (June)
- Distributions for participants no longer employed by the plan sponsor (later 2018)

As participants connect with technology, they’re able to efficiently take action, supported by educational information. They don’t need to be experts and neither do your clients.
