Online Part B:
- Indicate "Online Part B" on the Financial Professional Form. Then initiate the process in one of two ways:
- Complete and submit the online Part B Request Form. An email with a secure link will be sent immediately to the client; or
- Call 888-835-3277 to request the email be sent.
- Clients have 30 days to complete the form once they receive the email. They'll enter the provided verification code, complete the required information (usually takes about 30 minutes), and submit it to us. If they get stuck, they can call the TeleApp Contact Center and get assistance to either work through the rest of the online form or switch to finish it via an interview.
- Once the Part B is complete, the client will receive and e-mail link to e-sign the document.
- After your client has e-signed the Part B, and the rest of the application has been received, a copy will be stored on Principal.com under client Correspondence.
Telephone interview:
- Request to have the client called by an medical application specialist in one of two ways:
- Complete the online Part B Request Form; or
- Call 888-835-3277.
- An medical application specialist will call at the next available time, usually within 1 to 2 days. Interviews may be conducted from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday.
- If the client isn't available to take the call, we'll leave a message and send an email with the option to call us back or complete Part B online.
Requesting an interview
When requesting an interview, have the following information available:
- Financial professional's name and telephone number
- Client's name, Social Security number, and date of birth
- Products and total amounts applied for
- Signature state (the signing state)
- Client's telephone number and time to call
